Grilled Sausage Salad with Ginger Crostini
Preheat the oven to 300°. In a small bowl, combine 2 tablespoons olive oil [NOT ALL 5 LIKE I DID!] and the ginger; brush on the baguette slices. Transfer to a baking sheet and bake until crispy, about 15 minutes.

Baking refers to the process by which the food is cooked in an oven, be it dessert-y food or a savory dish. So a line of "bakeware" is any dish in which food CAN be baked, regardless of what you're baking. So of course, when she says she doesn't bake, she means DESSERTS like pies etc. She makes stuff...

Everyone has their preferences. I get really frustrated making sauces, so I usually don't do it. I've loved baking since I was little! I got yelled at a lot for using the oven when the adults were asleep.

Pru, I believe Rachael once said she doesn't bake (much) because she likes tossing things together (You almost never see her using measuring spoons.) and with baking you do have to be exact with your measurements. Rachael says her sister likes to bake though. When did ignorance become a poin...
