By Greg Clark That's a quote from your favorite UFC President, Dana White about Randy Couture not playing nice in the MMA sandbox while under contract with the UFC and now Randy faces a lawsuit filed yesterday initiated by parent company, Zuffa LLC. The lawsuit also alleges conspiracy, stating that several unnamed parties to be identified at a later date worked with Couture to intentionally inflict harm on the UFC. In addition to the disparaging remarks that Couture has made about the UFC and Zuffa, Couture is also breaching the terms of his contract by sponsoring a team in the IFL under the Xtreme Couture banner which is in direct violation of the terms of the contract Couture signed with Zuffa.   [read the full post]

By Colonel Balz LAS VEGAS – Ultimate Fighting Championship president Dana White on Saturday night confirmed that Tim Sylvia will meet Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira at UFC 81 on Feb. 2 for the interim heavyweight championship. “(Sylvia) will fight Nogueira for the interim title … Super Bowl (weekend),” said White. Although it is likely that the offer is now part of the legal maneuvering between the UFC and current heavyweight champion Randy Couture, White also indicated that the winner between Sylvia and Nogueira would challenge Couture for his belt. “I am not retired,” he said at the HDNet Fights show in Dallas, Texas. “I am waiting for my UFC contract to expire. By Greg Clark Yep, the Couture hype wagon has lost its wheels since Randy declined the bout against who most forsee as the future Heavyweight Champion, Minotauro Nogueira. Seriously folks, did you buy into the Couture hype thinking he was the best in the world because he won by Unanimous Decision against a crippled Tim Sylvia and TKO'ed a relative nobody who's claim to fame was a Right High Kick to the Left High Kick master in Mirko Cro Cop? Fedor would have put Couture in a coma.
