New York Times IL Most of the comedy is labored, but Thomas Lennon (Lt. Dangle from "Reno 911") is amusing as his King Nerd best friend (especially when he's repeatedly slapping Efron) and there are a couple of nice moments when Efron lectures his new classmates on the ...

New Zealand Reno 911's Thomas Lennon adds a touch of the whimsical with his geeky millionaire Ned. Every comedy has that token weirdo who only has to open their mouth and there'll be a one-liner sitting right there on the tongue and Ned is no different here. ... Zac attack Reno News & Review

Voice of America OR Especially impressive is Reno 911!'s Thomas Lennon, who plays Efron's grown-up, geeky best pal who yanks laughs out of every single scene. And even Zac Efron—who, I'm sorry, really reminds me of Clay Aiken—does a passable job at mimicking Matthew ...

New Zealand The film even has a few ‘Reno 911’ actors in some of the supporting roles, and a small cameo by Jorma Taccone from ‘Saturday Night Live’ and his comedy singing trio of ‘The Lonely Island’ fame. But the real stars of the movie are Paul Rudd, ...

By Costa Koutsoutis If there’s one thing I like about being lazy on a Friday night, it’s that “COPS” is on TV. Man, I love that show. And when Comedy Central’s “Reno 911″, a mock-take on the classic TV reality show first aired, I was hooked. It’s funny, irreverent, borderline uncomfortable sometimes, and honestly, not liking a show like this is just un-American. The 3-disc DVD set of the show comes with every episode of the season, with several episodes coming with cast commentary from Reno’s finest. The show, which premiered in 2003, stars Thomas Lennon, Robert Ben Garant, Kerri Kenney-Silver, Cedric Yarbrough, Carlos Alazraqui, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Niecy Nash, and Mary Birdsong as the moderately dysfunctional and probably mentally ill [...] [read the full post]
