Sam Jones III, best known to "Smallville" fans as the actor who played Pete Ross for many seasons, has been arrested in Los Angeles by Drug Enforcement Administration agents Wednesday for conspiracy to sell more than 10,000 pills of oxycodone or oxycontin.

Sam Jones III, Alan Ritchson and Darrin Brooks talk scifi vs horror at the Scream Awards

The guys of the upcoming SPIKE TV football comedy talk about whether they like sci-fi or horror. Sam gives a shout out to his Smallville fans. Daytime fans will recognize Darrin from Days of Our Lives. Spike will start promoting the show hard for a big winter premiere. Alan shows why he is Aquaman- he is a bit of a girl when it comes to scary movies. Tie ins for Darrin since he is not a Smallville alum- well he played an adopted Brady on Days of Our Lives so his character was related to Jensen Ackles Days character Eric Brady. Jensen played a football coach on Smallville- Darrin is playing a football player along with Alan and Sam on their new shows. Who thinks Darrin should get a quick guest spot on Smallville just so he can fit in better on set?

Sam Jones III has a key part in ER’s finale

Last week Warner Brothers who also produce Smallville said goodbye to one of their signature series- ER. Sam Jones III known to Smallville fans as Clark Kent’s best friend Pete Ross- has been on the series since leaving Smallville back in 2004. Sam played Chaz Pratt- younger brother to Mekhi Phiffer’s Greg Pratt. Sam got to take his character through some really interesting developments as he forged a relationship with the brother he never knew growing up, dealt with getting his family to accept his homosexuality and becoming first a paramedic and then going to medical school and following in his brother’s footsteps pursuing a career in ER medicine. This season Sam’s character stepped into the role of intern and has had several really goo...
