By Chart Topper After an extended absence from the cage, one that will last for over 20 months, former Strikeforce middleweight champion Cung Le (6-0) will headline the December 18 “Strikeforce: Evolution” show in a fight against Scott “Hands of Steel” Smith. Le hasn’t fought since March 29 of 2008 when he defeated Frank Shamrock for the Strikeforce middleweight title. Strikeforce”Fedor Vs. Rogers” The Good The Bad And The Ugly
Original at The MMA News

By Chart Topper With the first collaboration between Strikeforce, M-1 Global, and CBS finished, one has to think that the respective companies are quite happy with the end results. Here’s our take on the night, in our usual column we call “The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly.” The Good Free, Free, Free. Jason “Mayhem” Miller’s entrance was exciting, and he brought some lacking showmanship to the night. The Bad The commentating was hard to listen to at times, with Shamrock providing the most useful insight, but with a lackluster quality and general lack of knowledge certainly pervading the telecast.
