NBC has ordered nine more episodes of its new drama "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip," the network announced, meaning that one of its biggest bets in prime-time will run at least one full television season.

The show will go on for "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip," despite its failure to lure viewers. NBC said Thursday it has ordered an additional nine episodes of the backstage drama from "The West Wing" creator Aaron Sorkin for a full season's worth of shows, or 22 weeks.

Reuters - "Two and a Half Men" and "CSI: Miami" lifted CBS to a primetime victory Monday, while NBC's much-hyped "Studio 60" sank in its second week, losing to the two-hour debut of ABC's "The Bachelor: Rome," which delivered the show's highest premiere viewership since 2004.
