By erikab1123 A part of Lois wants to be a part of something greater – to be a part of something grand and special. Her heart and mind are telling her that Clark is the answer to all of her dreams. She even figured everything out on her own in IDOL but was cruelly left in the dark thanks to her annoying cousin’s machinations (I fully believe that had the phone not been ringing, had she not slipped off of the flagpole when she did that Clark was ready to reveal his true self to her in IDOL.) Instead she’s left feeling like an idiot and confused as hell. Now if we take her memories from the future into account here, nobody told Lois that Clark was the Blur, the result was that when he faced off w/ Zod at the end of her future trip and got stabbed by the Kryptonite laced knife, Lois... By noreply@blogger.com (Rokk Krinn) We hop over to the Daily Planet where Jimmy is sitting there waiting for Clark. Jimmy tells Lois that he has something important to talk to Clark about. Lois says that Clark is busy helping out his mother so it is best that Jimmy not talk to Clark for a while. Lois notices that Jimmy is extremely bothered. Lois then tells Jimmy that he can trust her and tell her whatever he wanted to talk to Clark about. Jimmy then recounts the events told in Superman’s Pal, Jimmy Olsen Special #1. Jimmy says that the bottom line is that the military is amassing all sorts of Kryptonite weaponry. Lois comments that the military wants a way to defeat the Kryptonians. Jimmy adds that the military project is designed to defeat just one Kryptonian: Superman. Jimmy thinks that t... [read the full post]

By Rokk Krinn Superman appears on the scene along with Kyle, Donna and Forager. Superman punches Darkseid and then comments that Mary could use a better role model. Superman and Darkseid engage in a titanic brawl. Superman vows to put Darkseid down once and for all. Jimmy then begins to glow with green Kryptonite. Superman crumbles to the ground. Jimmy is horrified and exclaims that Darkseid is controlling him. That Jimmy has absolutely no control over his powers. Darkseid tells Jimmy that he can now watch his best friend die. Personally, if Didio really felt the need for a female villain to compliment Superman-Prime then I would have much preferred that Supergirl play this role rather than Mary Marvel. At least it would have made a bit more sense for Supergirl... [read the full post]

By Brian Cronin A villain shows up, using a very amusing scheme (kidnapping someone and ransoming him to, well, himself), and ends up hurting Superman when some Kryptonite on set explodes, sending jagged pieces of Kryptonite into Superman’s face.
