By baudyhallee ACT FIVE Can they kill Green Arrow? Well, they killed the only Jimmy Olsen we knew on the show – until we heard his middle name, he was iconic Jimmy. Somebody is going to die. It’s the Smallville way. Lois has visions of Clark (shredded tee shirt blowing in the wind) and blondie dying in the future. We’ve had plenty of death anvils for blondie last season. Never happened. Davis, Doomsday and Jimmy died in The Cockroach’s place. Should have called the show Death Anvils For Blondie. BUT Smallville may have another twist – death anvils that actually come true. Of course, they’ll have to send her off as a convoluted, ego maniacal, control freak, arrogant hero – but that’s never stopped them before. Here’s hoping. [read the full post]

By baudyhallee Lois starts to get off the floor as Clark goes to her saying her name. He helps her up. Lois looks traumatized at Tess’s strength. Clark admits there is some truth to her story. Lois is going to the DP to write the article. Clark watches the doctor examine an unconscious zombie Tess. Eavesdropping Clark says one word, “Lois.” ACT FOUR This scene from beginning to end will never get old. It is a piece of the Superman mythology that is more than comparable to anything that preceded it. Well done, Smallville. ACT FIVE TRAILER: Yes, this is a tougher, grittier, sexier, more epic, more romantic and less soap opera-ish, Smallville. We all say. BRING IT ON, SMALLVILLE!!! You’re doing fantastic! By ComicList This comic really read like an old school annual. There are a couple of story threads here that are loosely tied together but are about to head off in different directions in different titles. The best part of the issue is Superman confronting the freed Zod and finding out his Aunt was behind it. Superman knows he can’t act with everyone against him so he waits but he’s suspicious of Zod’s intentions. Later he finds his friend Mon-El about to die in the shrinking Phantom Zone so he acts. The question of where Zod’s son is was only partially dealt with but it appears he was not still in the Zone. Other plots are opened up with Luthor, Lois, Nightwing, Flamebird and a backup story involving Jim Harper the Guardian and Scar the Guardian provides an intere... [read the full post]

Jimmy says that the bottom line is that the military is amassing all sorts of Kryptonite weaponry. Lois comments that the military wants a way to defeat the Kryptonians. Wally, fresh off bombing his interview to become a security guard, runs in to save the day. A pretty good issue. Plenty of action. We get two villains. We get lots of Superman.
