LOL the whole time they’ve been mentioning “the colt has the power to kill any demon” and it was announced that Satan is an angel. Ok, ok sooo the story line, to me, has changed. Its not, will Sam and/or Dean give consent or will they kill Satan. Its changed to, How will Satan get Sam to give consent and When will Dean give permission for Michael. (The episode’s opening credits alone will have both schlemiels and schlimazels howling.) All that’s up for debate is which segment the fans will find most hysterical. I myself was giving the edge to the riff on ‘Grey’s’ – which is replete with way too many people saying “Seriously?” – but then the ‘CSI’ spoof hit my screen and all bets were off. The boys are taking a tour of TV land that is high-larious for TV fans like ourselves. The Trickster drops Sam and Dean onto the set of “Seattle Mercy Hospital,” where they interact with the likes of Dr. Sexy, M.D. and Ellen Piccolo, the sexy, skinny, earnest lead. Look for the word seriously a lot and lots of atmospheric emo soundtrack music. You will have many opportunities to die laughing, including when Dean explains dead Denny to Sam, and Sam asks, “This show has ghosts? Jim Beaver : “Bobby basically decides to engage in a very high stakes game of poker which has a drastic affect on his age. There’s nothing in the scripts I have read so far that I would describe as ‘pivotal’ for Bobby. I think the next episode is an important one for Bobby in terms of storytelling. By huntersaddict Matt Roush : As far as I know, and leaning on the expertise of our in-house reporter who covers the show very closely, there still isn’t a decision on what will happen after Supernatural wraps this season of the apocalypse. This is what the series has been building up to all along, and we should all be thrilled the show got the chance to go there. Beyond that, Kripke & Co. would probably have to conceive a new story arc so the show wouldn’t go back to being demon-of-the-week (as entertaining as many of those episodes are). If everyone on the show wanted to move forward, I’d be surprised if the CW stood in their way, given the corporate interest Warner Bros. TV has in the franchise. But in “The Rapture,” we got the backstory behind his meat suit: Turns out Jimmy was a religious man with a wife and kid, a pretty good life… until Castiel came along, stealing Jimmy’s mind and body, taking him away from his family. The last episode seemed to indicate that Jimmy was giving himself over to Castiel for good. Is Jimmy gone forever? It would be nice, since Sam was the one who always believed in things like angels, while Dean didn’t. Not to mention that “Supernatural”’s viewership might take a serious hit. Cyn: Well, the fans have been bugging Eric Kripke for a body swap episode. So maybe one of the Winchester boys could change places with Castiel. Makes me happy, too, but I have to wonder. . . knowing nothing at all about how this season will end, I’m truly boggled by how Castiel will fit into the next season. By huntersaddict Fans shouldn’t worry too much about an upcoming episode titled “Jump the Shark,” which may (or may not) introduce a third Winchester brother. “We are aware of the fact that introducing new family members in an advanced season of a show is an idea that …has a lot of pitfalls. And then having that person tag along in the back of the Impala is probably something the fans wouldn’t respond to positively,” Gamble said. “I just hope the fans have a little faith in [creator] Eric [Kripke] about that. … It’s a good episode. But it’s not the episode that’s going to alter the formula of ‘Supernatural’ forever.” We’ll find out more about Ruby and how she fits into what’s going on with Sam. The Supernatural star revealed in an exclusive interview with BuddyTV that Castiel will not only play a big role in the final eight episodes of this season, but he is also in the final stages of signing on as a series regular for Supernatural season 5. There are eight episodes left in season 4 of Supernatural, and Misha Collins will be in six of them playing a fairly substantive role. “The biggest thing for Castiel is going to be his struggle with his doubt about the orders he’s getting from Heaven” Collins said.
