By puckbuff13 This episode wasn’t fun per se, but it set up interesting changes in the boys’ relationship and brought back some friendly faces. (I didn’t realize how much I missed Ellen until within 5 minutes of meeting up with the boys she had slapped Dean, called him “boy,” hugged him, and elicited a “Yes, ma’am.” Oh Ellen, never go away for that long again!) The tension between the two brothers was palpable through out the entire episode, especially when a frustrated and angry Sam shoved Dean in the hall. It was also heartbreaking to see that Dean at this point is simply too worn out to even fight back anymore. There have been too many battles, the current war has too many fronts, and Dean has become resigned. Man, I’m hoping that final scene was rock bottom for... [read the full post]

Supernatural and Vampire Diaries premiere date announced Variety reports that the upcoming new series The Vampire Diaries and Supernatural will be premiering on Sept. 10 with the teen vamp show premiering in the hour currently housing Smallville. Smallville will premiere on Sept 25 with the two Fridays before it housing repeats of the network’s new dramas until the Smallville premiere. Shiri Appleby’s new disfunctional family drama will join the schedule mid-year after Smallville. We have some video spoilers for the new Vampire Diaries. I am a little disturbed and worried about how I will be able to abbreviate the show- Supernatural is usually designated by SN or SPN- but calling a teenage drama of any sort VD is just unseemly. Anyone ha... [read the full post]

Jensen Ackles takes time off from the apocalypse- to play golf Jensen is in L.A. for his summer break and yesterday he was at The Paley Center For Media Presents The 6th Annual Celebrity Golf Classic. Jensen took up golf after Tom Welling got him into it when they started working together in Vancouver where Smallville and Supernatural film. Obviously Jensen has decided to really step it up and has invested in the full 18 links uniform and everything. You will note he has forgone wearing the knickers and knee socks for slacks with argyle. Recent reports from conventions have Jensen and Jared saying that they are signed for a sixth season of Supernatural and Dawn Ostroff the president of the CW has said she wants a sixth season but series creator Eri... By Kate Supernatural Summer News Roundup Supernatural ended in May with a HELL of a finale. Sam used his powers and managed to bring on the Apocalypse and release Lucifer thanks to following Ruby’s guidance in killing Lillith. The saving grace in the final moments was that right after Sam found out what happened Dean broke into the chapel and ganked Ruby while Sam held her. I keep playing that over and over and over. Gif to the right by our forum member and Supernatural moderator LERE There has been a speculation flowing freely all over the web about the status of the show post- season 5. Initially when the CW announced their 2009-2010 season they said it would be Supernatural’s last season, then immediately recanted and CW President Dawn Ostroff said t... [read the full post]

Supernatural: Mid Year about to pick up again!

By Kate I do know that I am over the moon about the show getting a season 5 and the promise from Eric Kripke to make sure Castiel sticks around. The new trailers are amazing. I am very excited to see the venerable character actor and king of all things sci-fi Chris Heyerdahl land on Supernatural. The return of a certain psychic has me looking forward to the mid-year episodes as well. That was a case of a character who was supposed to be a one shot role getting more air time because Tracie Dinwiddie is so darn fun in the part of Pamela. Who do you think the big promised death in the next few episodes will be? I am hoping my Bobby is safe! Did everyone catch the interview with JDM talking about making a return to Supernatural and wanting to see more about John’s years on... [read the full post]
Why Supernatural Fans hate Ruby 2.0- and the demons they do like
Original at multipleverses.com

By Kate These are the good demon portrayals on Supernatural. Now lets get to the bad one. Katie Cassidy came on to the show in season 3 and made a huge impact as a new character. She played Ruby- the demon who remembered being human and has no interest in seeing demons take over the world. She spends most of the season proving to Sam and Dean that she means them no harm. She is smart, sassy, somewhat secretive, and still a little cruel- she is a demon after all. We see her willingness to sacrifice herself for Sam in Jus en Bello and she is sent back to hell when Lilith pushes her out in the season 3 finale. When Katie turns around it is Dean - close to hell and able to see demons- who initially says “That’s not Ruby” before we see it- Katie’s face twists up and we see her smil... [read the full post]
Jared Padalecki talks about Supernatural Season 4 and possible season 5

By Kate Friday the 13th hits theaters just a couple of weeks after My Bloody Valentine 3D opened in cinemas. Normally the release of two horror movies in a matter of weeks of each other wouldn’t be worth mentioning, but Friday the 13th and My Bloody Valentine 3D star the leading men from the popular TV series Supernatural. But Padalecki doesn’t feel like he’s competing with his Supernatural co-star Jensen Ackles at all. “When we found out that we were coming out on February 13th and his movie’s obviously called My Bloody Valentine, we were like, ‘Oh man, I hope we don’t go up against each other,’ because we’re buddies. It’s not like it could really affect anything, but it’s like, you know, I don’t even want the stigma. But luckily his already came out and d... [read the full post]

By Kate Jared Padalecki on the Bonnie Hunt show promoting Friday the 13th Interview with Supernatural Story Editor Julie Siege who writes for Star Wars The Clone Wars: What do Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi have in common with Sam and Dean Winchester? More than you might think. Supernatural creator Eric Kripke once referred to the show as “Star Wars in truck stop America,” but the connection actually goes deeper — down to its very roots. Wanting to explore it more, I found the perfect person to discuss it with — she’s Star Wars: The Clone Wars scribe Julie Siege who also happens to be a story editor on Supernatural. By Kate Supernatural- Demons’ Agenda Highlights and key things you need to know about the battle between good and evil on Supernatural November 5th, 2008 by Kate Blake Admin Multipleverses.com Supernatural has been one of my favorite shows since it premiered back in the fall of 2005. The main draw for me was two-fold. I knew Jensen Ackles was going to be in the show and I knew that a lot of the key people behind the X-Files were involved with this new horror/ sci-fi series. I classify Supernatural as paranormal television- more horror than hard science fiction but enough hmmm those are weird things to keep the X-Files fan in me very happy. This is part one of a two part summary of the good and the evil that we have seen on Supernatural as the Winchesters try t... [read the full post]
