A character's article should include information on its name and personality, what releases or versions the Tamagotchi has been in, official Bandai artwork of the character, and generally important things. For example, editing Masktchi's page to say "omg she luvs Gozarutchi" isn't very helpful, credible, or necessary.Each article about Tamagotchi releases should include info on special features, release dates, official images, and a list of all characters featured.Also, articles that are pointless or useless should either be expanded to be a credible and helpful article, or otherwise deleted. I must admit that my anticipatory (is that a word? ...it is now :D) experience was a mixture of dread and curiosity. To tell the truth I'm still not sure how I feel about this Tamagotchi version. I'm not sure how the whole music theme is going to be incorporated with the familiar experience of raising a tamagotchi. However it's still early for me to say if I like the Tamagotchi Music Star or not. I'll just say what I liked and not liked so far: Anyway, sorry for such a long post. By Jesmond(noreply@blogger.com) Hi everyone! First off, Happy New Year 2009!! This post will be about my first day with my Tamagotchi + color. The first thing you get when you put in the battery is the clock which you have to set (picture below). Don't you just love the faces on all the clocks? :D I've said it before and I'll say it again: I love the details on this tama. Althought the color screen is a novel feature, everything else is pure Tamagotchi. Bandai did a great job on the animations and the color screen is put to good use. By Jesmond(noreply@blogger.com) Hi all, Bandai contacted me yesterday and told me about the V5.5...apparently this won't be the American/European version of the Royal Famita after all. There will be new colors and a new family. I'm guessing that the new family will be a different pure family from the ones we have seen on the regular V5. I will be posting a picture of the new designs as soon as they are out. By Jesmond(noreply@blogger.com) More news about the Japanese color Tamagotchi ! :D Apparently this version will be called: "Tamagotchi + Color". Above are the colors that this tamagotchi will be released in...loves them :) This tamagotchi will be released on 11th November. I will be ordering one and review it here so check back soon. Above are some screen-animations from Bandai. As you can see I was right, TamaTown is directly accessible from the tamagotchi unit...how perfect is that? :D Also it seems like thier will be seasons on the Tamagotchi...and different weather: rain, wind, snow, it all looks sooo interesting.   [read the full post]

I included Sunnitchi as well because the last time I posted an image of her I forget to give the proper color to the spikey-things around her head (I guess these represent the sun-rays). Well I fixed her and here she in glorious 3D accompanied by the baby Iwatchi: the rock Tamagotchi...so sweet :) As you already might know, Iwatchi is the baby stage of the Space family on the Tamagotchi V5. This won't be a simulation for cell-phones, computers, gameboy etc...this will be a regular hand-held key chain Tamagotchi but the display is all in color! There is no information about it yet except the above picture which I got from Japan's Bandai website. I really really like the screen and the fact that they included a room for the tamagotchi to live in will probably mean that it will be able to interact with the environment, such as playing games on the computer seen in the background or resting on the couch. I don't know exactly what it is but it seems like this is a sort of Furby (another Bandai toy) but with a ChaMametchi theme. As you might recall, ChaMametchi is Mametchi's younger sister who first appeared in the Tamagotchi movie last year and then she also appeared on the Tamagotchi V5. From the pictures on the website it seems like other characters will make an appearence (like Mametchi and Kutchipatchi). The small bag is a way of interacting with ChaMametchi and pressing the buttons will make her speak. However she only speaks in Japanese for now, so unless they come up with an English version or unless you understand Japanese, there's not much sense in buying one.   [read the full post]

I'm so busy all the time lately I can't find the time to do the things that I enjoy to do the most :( However I have not forgotten this blog and I am always on the lookout for any Tamagotchi news so that I will post it here. By Jesmond This is my latest 3D creation. This character goes by three different names: Furawatchi, Leaftchi and Violetchi. I have never really understood why this particular character received 3 different names although I do remember seeing her being depicted in green rather than pink. So maybe one of the three names is referring to another character which is different from the Furawatchi shown here. Can anyone clarify this mystery?
