By noreply@blogger.com (Nightwing) DC's "One Year Later" event occurred March of 2006. In Teen Titans #33, Superboy and Nightwing are in the thick of the Infinite Crisis world-shattering event. With Teen Titans #34, a full year has passed since the Crisis. A comatose Cyborg awakens to discover the only active Titans: Robin, R...

By Shelly(shelly.s@gmail.com) My first Action Comics issue in decades because of the Supergirl Reactron storyline. The art by Pere Perez, unknown to me until now, is lovely. A lot of setup here, but some nice character bits with Kara, Nightwing, and Flamebird and over at the Planet. And I didn't know Kara had a cousin. Cool.

By noreply@blogger.com (collectededitions) By avoiding some of these high-octane stories, the writers can keep Daredevil on the street, and don't have to continuously create more ridiculous situations/villains to spur the hero on or make the universe consistent [it's always seemed odd to me that Nightwing has faced Trigon (The...

By noreply@blogger.com (collectededitions) I wonder whether "the Nightwing conundrum" isn't a sign of a larger sea change among the DC Comics titles. Nightwing and Starfire then lock horns with one of the brothers named Wraith. We then see Envy tangling with Donna. Envy’s power lets him assume the form of the person whom his opponent envies the most. Therefore, Envy turns into Wonder Woman. We see Beast Boy still crouched next to Raven. We now see Trigon walking toward the portal that the brothers are using Raven to create. Raven tells Beast Boy that she has a plan. Nightwing then tells the Titans that they need to change their strategy. Starfire locks horns with Envy.   [read the full post]

By Rokk Krinn So, DC keeps shuffling the deck with their titles and it appears that the Outsiders have been the latest title to be slated for cancellation. The next issue of the Outsiders, issue #50 will be the last issue. The title then will be re-started as Batman and the Outsiders. That’s right; DC keeps the retro ball rolling by taking the Outsiders back to their roots to that fateful day when Batman told the JLA to go eff themselves. Personally, I’d love it if DC formed an adult version of the Titans for characters like Cyborg, Nightwing, Starfire and Donna Troy and let the new teen heroes led by Wonder Girl and Robin take full control of the Teen Titans.   [read the full post]

By Rokk Krinn The Revolution’s interest in the Teen Titans has declined during the course of this Titans East story arc. That is not a positive sign for the chances of The Revolution enjoying the Teen Titans when Geoff Johns leaves and Adam Beechen assumes full control of this title. The Titans East story arc has definitely not lived up to the hype. It has been rather disappointing. Of course, the best part of Teen Titans #45 was the ending. Without this ending, Teen Titans #45 would have just been an ordinary read. I completely geeked out seeing Cyborg and Raven appear on the scene with some of the old school Titans in Donna Troy, Beast and best of all, Nightwing! Oh yeah, Bart tags along as well wearing Barry and Wally’s Flash outfit.   [read the full post]
