TSCC News and Review Round-Up November 19th, 2008 The Complicated Nightmare and Insomnia Edition Sarah’s nightmares have always been rather odd. This week, however, they were downright creepy and surreal with tortoises showing up in groups of three. Fortunately or unfortunately, depending on how you look at it, some of us here at Sarah Connor Society haven’t had to worry about any nightmares due to an apparent case of insomnia that has been nagging me for the past couple of nights. So… no dreaming of tortoises here but I do have a pet turtle, does that count for anything? Not only was Sarah having some nasty dreams, but John and Cameron couldn’t find Cromartie’s body. Then on top of that mess, Derek and Jesse end up torturing then killing a future turncoat who was working for Skynet. There was a whole lot of stuff happening in “Complications”. Now, we have a whole lot of reviews to go along with the complicated set-up for future episodes. I’m beginning to think that with all the reviews that have come pouring in over the past couple of days, I was not the only person who wasn’t sleeping. Here’s what all the bloggers and media types had to say about “Complications”: Buddy TV TV Squad Zap2it iF Magazine SyFy Portal Film School Rejects Paul Levinson’s Infinite Regress Premium Hollywood TVoholic The AV Club i09 TV Fodder Mania TWoP and finally, IGN Not only are the reviews in but also the overnight ratings have come in. TV by the Numbers posted the overnights and as we all know by now TSCC does not have the greatest numbers. The good thing is that TSCC has remained steady. So, all you crazy fans out there, don’t forget to pursuade everyone around you to tune in next Monday to watch “Strange Things Happen at the One Two Point”. Do what ever you can to get new people turned on and tuned in to Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, but please… just don’t pull a Derek and Jesse. That really won’t help the ratings. Now for some dandy TSCC actor and artist news: From IMAY, Lena Headey is participaing in the “Heroes at Home” program along with a number of other actors and musicians. According to Bear McCreary’s blog, he will be playing along with Brandon’s Band at The Hotel Cafe on November 22, 2008 Followed up by some Terminator Salvation and James Cameron news: Terminator Salvation’s director, McG, is recently hosted a five minute preview of the movie. Click HERE for the info. Sam Worthington is joining the cast of “Clash of the Titans” and “The Debt”. Terminator Salvation writers, Micheal Ferris and John Brancato, are in early talks to write the “XXX: The Return of Xander Cage” script. Click HERE for details. Alan Robinson has posted on his blog some TS prequel comic pages preview HERE plus a cool T-800 pinup HERE. Sigourney Weaver will be one of the women featured at the Annual Women in Entertainment Breakfast. Click HERE for details.
