I concur. The Godfather Part II you could argue has the better themes and life lessons to it, but Part I is just pure storytelling. The Godfather series is, of course, a trilogy, but each film... stand alone movie. I think Godfather 2 might not have been... I think in actually liking Godfather 3. Sofia Coppola was not..., and the climactic scene in Godfather 3 I find so overdone...
