By Jason Hughes Season 21, Episode 2) I also noticed a few cutaways, like the form of Bart watching Back to School on Mrs. Krabappel’s TV. Trying to compete a bit with the rapid-fire Family Guy style of comedy, I guess. It’s a shame, because I liked The Simpsons just fine the way they were.

By Jason Hughes I remember when this show had true moments of emotion between the characters. Moments of love, or fear or … something. This was all just so over the top, it was even more out there than the “Treehouse of Horror” specials. Was this a one-off anomaly, or has The Simpsons lost its heart?
