Most had expected him to go in the lottery, but his agent had kept him from working out against other players and many felt that was why he slipped to number 18. Whatever the reason, Celtics fans were thrilled to get him. But then, all that potential never translated to NBA play. He showed flashes, but never any consistency and couldn't seem to put it all together. But we did get bright spots like this dunk against the Raptors. I still remember all the Raptor fans talking about them getting even with Gerald for hot dogging at the end of a Celtics win. [read the full post]

Garbajosa could serve as a backup to fellow Spaniard Pau Gasol, who will shift from center to power forward next season with the return of center Andrew Bynum.
