Wii Fit Diet, and My Fitness Coach!
Original at cdeaver (WordPress)

By nitetiger4 On another note, I bought My Fitness Coach, because I was honestly getting a little bored with the Wii Fit exercises. There is just not enough different aerobic exercises to do in Wii Fit and I hate having to pick out what I want to do. It takes like 45-50 minutes to do a 30 minute workout. But My Fitness Coach, which was only $30 new at Gamestop, is super cool. It doesn’t work with the Wii Balance Board (other than using it as a step) but it’s still nice. Kind of like an exercise video, only it’s different every time. Perfectly centered center of balance on Wii Fit! Ok, so I suck at updating, but I haven’t had much happen lately. I’ve been exercising st [read the full post]
Wii Fit Diet, Again

By nitetiger4 The good news is that the weight I lost from my “Wii Fit Diet” still seems to be gone, despite only sporadic exercising. I weighed in at 220 yesterday, which is 18 lbs down from where I started and 5 lbs down from my last post. The exercises on Wii Fit have kind of become repetitive and boring to me, so I’ve decided to just do Free Step and watch a movie for half an hour while I do it, in the morning after breakfast, rather than at night. I’m switching to morning because I tend to feel really tired at night and then want to skip the exercise. Good luck to all you newbies who just bought a Wii Fit for Christmas. Stay committed… work out every day and eat healthy. You’ll lose weight, and hopefully, like me, you’ll keep it off. It DOES work. I do no other exercise besides... [read the full post]

By nitetiger4 BMI: 33.33 Wii Fit Age: 27 (stupid Agility test again) Difference from yesterday: +.7 lbs Pound difference from starting weight: -6 lbs Just a normal day, nothing out of the ordinary, except for stupid Super Hula Hoop in the second half was not following my hip swinging. All of my hoops fell off with 40 seconds to go, despite the fact that I was swinging around in a circle as hard as I could. I went and checked the board after that and it said it was fine, so I don't know what the heck it was doing. It worked just fine for the first half of hula hooping. Grr. Good luck! Lucky Day 13 stats: Weight: 232.8 lbs BMI: 33.33 Wii Fit Age: 27 (stupid Agility test again) Differe [read the full post]
Wii Fit Diet, Day 12

By nitetiger4 BMI: 34.18 Wii Fit Age: Nothing, because I just wanted to die. Weight: 232.1 BMI: 33.23 Wii Fit Age: 20 Total weight lost: 6.7 lbs in 16 days. Today I only exercised for 30 minutes again. 30 minutes is so much easier to do than a whole hour. An hour is forever. 30 minutes is great. I've decided on kind of a routine now too... 10 minutes of advanced step, 10 minutes of Super Hula Hoop and 10 minutes of Free Run. I do it that way because Advanced Step is kind of slow and works well as a warm-up, then Super Hula Hoop really gets my heart going and then I move to Free Run, which I can start hard, then I can slowly warm down at the end. It seems to work fine! [read the full post]
Wii Fit Diet, Day 10

By nitetiger4 And Day 10 of the Wii Fit Diet arrives in all it's triumphant splendor! Today's stats: Weight: 236.8 lbs BMI: 33.90 Wii Fit Age: 26 Today the Balance Board had me do that dratted Agility test again, raising my Wii Fit Age to 26. I only managed to get through 15 of the "levels" in it in 30 seconds and that's just not good enough, apparently. :P I've been reading, by the way, and I've heard there are some more fitness games due to come out that utilize the balance board. Like one from "The Biggest Loser" (which I've only heard about and never watched) that is supposedly due out during the holiday season. That's good, because by then I'll probably be sick of Wii Fit. :D [read the full post]
Wii Fit Diet, Day 9

By nitetiger4 I ran the island lap again (I've tried to incorporate the running more into my workout, because from what I've read, that burns the most calories... about as much as running on a treadmill does). And I did Advanced Step a couple of times, as well as hula hooping for 6 minutes. I keep on trying to get up the gumption to do the 10 minute Super Hula Hoop, but I just can't... it just seems like forever! Maybe if they split it into 4 parts instead of just 2, I would do it... but they don't, and so I just keep chickening out. P.S. I've suddenly seen a huge uptick in my daily visitors... it's kind of creepy. Before I started blogging about my Wii Fit Diet, I was getting 15 visitors a day, and the day before yesterday I had 61. Today, I've had 115. I don't know where you're all coming from... bu... [read the full post]
Wii Fit Diet, Day 7

By nitetiger4 BMI: 34.02 Wii Fit Age:31 My Wii Fit age is really high because the balance board had me do this Agility Test, where you have to hit these squares by shifting your balance... apparently, I'm not so good at doing that. The balance board is surprisingly blunt sometimes. Like when it tells me that I'm not good at the Agility Test. Luckily, it is not real, so I can ignore it all I want. The balance board actually told me happy birthday today (and it calculated my age, 22... good job, balance board)! I was pleasantly surprised by that. I didn't think it would notice. Then it told me I don't have to be worried about getting old as long as I am fit. I am so very glad the balance board told me that, because I was so very scared of getting old and weak. Thank you balance board. [read the full post]

By nitetiger4 Today I did a full 60 minutes of cardio. I had unlocked the 6 minute Super Hula Hoop game yesterday, so I played that once... I almost died. I can tell my waist is going to be sore tomorrow. I think the problem is that I've never been able to really hula hoop correctly, so I'm probably doing it wrong and p...

By nitetiger4 It's day two of my Wii Fit dieting! How exciting! I hope I can keep this up. BMI: 34.28 Wii Fit Age: 25 8) When you have a young baby, you're not supposed to run with them. Also, jogging strollers cost a lot. So that is why I enjoy running in place with the Wii Fit rather than going outside.

By nitetiger4 Free step is cool, because it beats out time for you over the Wiimote speaker instead of the TV speaker, so you can change to a different channel and still hear the beat on the Wiimote. You step to the beat on the balance board and it ...

By nitetiger4 Credits scored for today: 42 minutes (all in aerobic exercises... so hula hoop, jogging... etc) Snack: So anyway, I hope this Wii Fit helps me lose some weight, cause I really need to do so! Wish me luck! So I picked up a Wii Fit last night! Andrew found one on E-bay that was used and selling nearby, so
