By noreply@blogger.com (Rokk Krinn) MARVEL COMICS Which Marvel comic book am I most looking forward to reading? As always, I am looking forward to the double shot of Ed Brubaker that we are getting with Captain America #44 and Daredevil #113. Captain America is the stronger of the two titles as it continues to be one of Marvel’s premier titles. Still, Daredevil is usually a solid read each and every month. Which Marvel comic book am I least looking forward to reading? I am not expecting much from Hulk #8. This title continues to decline with each issue. While the artwork and the action is nice, the character work and the dialogue is just unbearable at times. [read the full post]

Captain America is supposed to rendezvous with Lior Eshel, an agent with the Polish resistance forces. By noreply@blogger.com (Rokk Krinn) I also like the fact that Brubaker has Bucky carry out his role as Captain America the exact same way that he carried out his role as a soldier during World War II. I dig that Bucky gives no warning before attacking the villains in this issue. Bucky attacks super villains in the same silent and deadly manner in which he attacked the Axis soldiers during World War II. This helps separate Captain America from the other super heroes in the Marvel Universe. Overall: Captain America #43 was a well balanced issue. Brubaker keeps this train rolling as it appears that we are not going to lose any momentum at all with this new story arc. Captain America is still one of Marvel’s better titles. [read the full post]

Iron Man and Captain America fighting side by side, Fury and Osborn fighting next to each other guns a blazing and lots and lots of Skrulls. Some of the fun battles have Reed fighting a ton of Sues. We also get some good one on one between the Queen and Wolverine. Spider-Man, Cage and even some Hawkeye action help round out a great cast with some interesting moments. Thor kind of gets a low amount of involvement which is a bummer. We also get some Kree action to create more chaos. [read the full post]

We slide to Nick in a hospital bed with General Ross in the room questioning Nick. Ross asks why a filthy mutant killing machine like Wolverine would carry Nick on his back across the desert. All Wolverine is programmed to do is kill and yet he saved Nick. Nick responds that there is only one Captain America and that he died during World War II. Nick says that he is not Captain America. Nick says that it takes a certain type of man to represent an ideal to a nation and a world. Nick says that he is not that kind of man. Nick says that he is the man who ran away. [read the full post]

By noreply@blogger.com (Rokk Krinn) The Revolution always looks forward to the latest issue of Captain America. This title continues to be Marvel’s strongest title as Brubaker is giving us a run that is certain to be viewed as one of the more legendary runs that you will find on any title. It seems that Brubaker simply can do no wrong with Captain America. Last issue had an excellent hook ending and I am excited to see if the man at the end of the last issue really is the 1950’s Captain America. Let’s hit this review for Captain America #38. We then see Arnim Zola hook himself into a machine and disappear from his robotic body. Falcon quickly grabs Captain America and flies them out of the AIM facility just before the bomb blows up the entire place. Captain America and Falcon watch the burnin... [read the full post]
