Xavier knew sacrifice, and he knew hardship. He saw people he...

By noreply@blogger.com (Rokk Krinn) Pencils: David Finch We cut to Angel swimming under the water and spying Dazzler’s body floating under the water. Angel grabs Dazzler and flies her out of the water. Angel screams to Dazzler “You’re not going to die on me!” Dazzler appears to be dead and Angel softly whispers “No.” We slide over to the X-Mansion where Professor X suddenly collapses in pain. Wolverine and Cyclops rushes to Xavier’s side. Professor X says that Beast, Dazzler and Nightcrawler are gone. That millions are dead. Professor X says that something terrible has happened. Professor X stammers that “Have to tell them…Warn them...” [read the full post]

By Rokk Krinn We cut back to the end of Messiah Complex after Bishop had his arm chomped off by Predator X. Evidently, while Bishop was bleeding from the wound, Sunfire crash landed next to Bishop. Bishop uses Sunfire’s flames to cauterize his wound. Bishop then grabs a gun and fires a shot at the baby just as Cable teleported away from the scene with the baby in tow. Unfortunately, the shot misses Cable and the baby and hits Professor X in the head. Cyclops then blasts Bishop. Bishop then gets covered by rubble. Bishop then digs his way out and somehow manages to sneak away from the scene without the X-Men finding him. We see Bishop levitate a tractor trailer and throw it at Cable. End of issue. By Rokk Krinn We zip to Nightcrawler and Professor X in the Blackbird. Suddenly, a lightning storm appears and Professor X grabs his head. Professor X says that Storm’s mind suddenly went white and that he can’t get into her mind now. That all he hears is screaming. Beast and Bishop leave the dealer’s place. Beast is depressed that he has hit a total dead end. That he doesn’t know where to go from here. Bishop says he isn’t worried because in his future there are tons of mutants. Beast then comments that Bishop is from an alternate future like Marvel Girl and Cable. That Bishop’s very presence here makes it unlikely that it will ever…Beast pauses and then says “Wait. That could be it.” End of issue. [read the full post]

By Rokk Krinn Darwin then informs Nightcrawler that the M’Kraan Crystal gave Professor X his mutant powers back. Professor X comments that they must make contact with Alex and the others immediately. I dig that Polaris is standing by her man. For me, Havok and Polaris go together like peanut butter and jelly. I didn’t really get into it when they were broken up and Polaris was paired up with Iceman. It just didn’t work for me. These two characters belong together and it is cool to see Polaris willing to sacrifice her life in order to support Havok. Brubaker has done a nice job capturing the emotion and depth of the relationship between Havok and Polaris. [read the full post]

By Rokk Krinn We hop over to the jail cell where Darwin and Professor Xavier are being held. The Shi’ar soldiers enter and grab Professor X and drag him to the wedding ceremony. Nightcrawler teleports over to Professor X. However, Vulcan blasts Nighcrawler and then grabs Professor X. Vulcan then says that Professor X is going to get what he deserves. I’m going to guess that Darwin will sacrifice his own life in order to save Professor X. And I think there might be a good chance that Professor X’s exposure to the Crystal may give him his mutant powers back. After all, a powerless Professor X isn’t all that interesting.
