Magneto has appeared over Utopia. Professor X asks him what he wants. Magneto does not want to speak to him, he is there to talk to Scott (Cyclops) Summers. As a sign that he is not looking for a fight, Magneto removes his helmet that protects him from psychic attacks. He gives his helmet to Scott. Professor X confronts him that it is a trap. Magneto refuses to fight. He says that Professor X and his time has passed. Professor launches a psychic attack. Magneto holds his ground but does not respond. The professor and Scott have an argument. Scott tells him to stand down. It is very understandable that Professor X would not trust Magneto. X-Men: Divided We Stand #1 of 2 Marvel Comics Carey, Peterson, Ponsor, Kyle, Yost, Takeda, Young, Beaulieu, Yost, LaFuente, Fraction & McKelvie Lastly, Nightcrawler confronts the one who nearly killed him, Scalphunter. This story is good for a couple of reasons. One, it really gives deep insight into Nightcrawler’s character. We even get the aspects of his spirituality which isn’t always presented with the character. Secondly, we see that not all the X-Men are lost in their purpose. Lastly, we see that the villains of the Messiah Complex aren’t exactly prospering since the war ended either. 4 out of 5 geek goggles. X-Men Divided We Stand #1 (of 2)

The Endangered Species back-up story has the Beast investigating Neverland. Beast notices that someone else has already searched all of the files and compute databases. Beast imagines that it must have been the colleague that High Evolutionary spoke about. This person seems one step ahead of Beast. And what is up with Carey’s Colossus? Colossus acts like he is from outer space rather than from Russia. Colossus isn’t a Vulcan. And Colossus didn’t just get off the boat. He has been in America for quite some time. It is striking the difference of Whedon’s well developed Colossus and Carey’s one-dimensional dumb Colossus who acts like he just arrived on planet Earth from planet Vulcan.
